Instructions:

Ch 4, then join in the furthest ch with a sl st to form a loop.

Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as a dc), then work 11 dc into the center of the ring.  Join with a slip stitch on the top most chain where you began the round to close the round.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as a dc)  Work a dc into the very first stitch (the loop you’ll see at the bottom of the turning chain you just made).  *Then work 2 dc into the next stitch.  Repeat from * around. Join with a slip stitch on the top most chain where you began the round to close the round.

Row 3: *Work a slip stitch into the first stitch. Work a sc into the next stitch. Chain 3, then work a sc into the same stitch. Repeat from * around. Join to close the round in the base of the first single crochet worked at the beginning of the round.

Weave in any ends that remain. If you like you can do a couple of light coats on the back of each medallion with some fabric stiffener. Work from the center outward and do several light coats. Let dry overnight. Next, add a jump ring with an earring hook to one of the top picots. Your earrings are ready to wear!
