
The Take It Easy Crochet Scarf is a relaxing, simple to crochet scarf. It features a chunky lace texture that is made up of the most basic stitches. Self striping makes the color changes effortless, but it looks equally beautiful in a solid color too. Materials:
- 6.5 mm K crochet hook
- 360 yards of 4/medium-worsted weight yarn (I used 2 balls of With Love from Red Heart in the “Leisure Stripe” colorway.
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Tape measure
Finished Sizing:
- 86 inches long
- 8 inches wide

Instructions:
Ch 34 (multiple is 6+4)
Row 1: In the 6th ch from the hook, work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc). *Skip 5 chains, then in the chain after that work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc). Repeat from * across until 4 chains remain. Skip 3 chains and in the very last chain, work a dc.
Row 2: Ch 3 and turn. In each ch 3 space (center of each fan) and work (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc). To finish the row, work a dc into the turning chain space at the end of the row.
Repeat row 2 until the scarf is 86 inches long or desired length.
Weave in any ends that remain and it’s ready to wear!
