In today’s tutorial we’ll be exploring how to use a ball winder and a swift.  Have you ever gotten yarn that looks like this?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

While gorgeous and fun to look at, it needs to be wound into a ball or yarn cake before actually using it.  Using a ball winder and swift, you can transform your skein into a neat little (center-pull) yarn cake as seen below:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
