font-size: large;\">(Green yarn) Ch 4, join in the furthest ch from the hook to make a ring.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana; font-size: large;\">Round 1 (green yarn): Ch 2, then work 11 hdc into the center of the ring.&nbsp; Join to close round with a sl st.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana; font-size: large;\">Round 2 (green yarn): Ch 2, then work 2 hdc into each st around.&nbsp;&nbsp;Join to close round with a sl st.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana; font-size: large;\">Round 3 (green yarn): Ch 2, then work a hdc into the first st. *Work 2 hdc into the next st, then a hdc into the next st.&nbsp; Repeat from * around.&nbsp;Join to close round with a sl st.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana; font-size: large;\">Round 4 (green yarn):&nbsp;Ch 2, then work a hdc into the first st. *Work a hdc into the next st, a hdc into the next st, then two hdc into the next st.&nbsp; Repeat from * around.&nbsp;Join to close round with a sl st.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana; font-size: large;\">Round 5 (green yarn): Ch 2, the work a bphdc (back post half double crochet) in each st around.&nbsp;&nbsp;Join to close round with a sl st.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana; font-size: large;\">Rounds 6-10 (rounds 6-8 in green and rounds 9-10 in blue):&nbsp;Ch 2, the work a hdc in each st around.&nbsp; Join to close round with a sl st and leave the yarn on your hook.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana; font-size: large;\">Handle instructions (blue yarn, worked flat):<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana; font-size: large;\">Work a sc in each of the first four stitches.&nbsp; *Ch 1 and turn.&nbsp; Work a sc in each st across.&nbsp; Repeat from * until handle is the length you need.&nbsp; I worked my handle for 9.5 inches.&nbsp; Fasten off leaving a long tail.&nbsp; With the tapestry needle, seam the handle to the opposite side of the basket.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana;
