Then building on those skills, it also includes granny stitches, simple squares, and more textured stitches like the popcorn and basketweave.  All are easy enough for beginners but add a little more to your projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Basic Stitches<\/strong>-Start here!  The very basic chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet stitches.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Squares<\/strong>-granny squares and mitered squares<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Granny<\/strong>-granny stripes, ripples, squares, and even triangles too!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Other easy stitches<\/strong>-these stitches are the next step in learning easy crochet stitches.  For example, the closed shell stitch is just chains, single crochets, and double crochet stitches.
