These bunnies are so cute and cheerful for springtime…best of all the are only one round, making them a fast and easy little project. Use them to scatter across a springtime table, to tuck into baskets, or stuff into eggs for an egg hunt surprise.

To start, chain 4.

Join with a slip stitch to form a ring.

Now work 4 double crochet into the center of the ring,

then chain 4 (this is the first ear),

In the second chain from the hook, work one single crochet.

and in the next chain work another single crochet.

At the base of the ear, work one more single crochet into the stitch.

Not work a slip stitch into the center of the ring (this separates the ears).

Work a double crochet into the ring,

and chain 4.

in the second chain from the hook, work a single crochet, and then a single crochet in each of the next three chains.

When you reach the base of the ear, work one more single crochet in the stitch at the base.

Both ears are finished…

Now work two more double crochet into the center of the ring to complete the bunny.

To make a one round bunny, I used some worsted weight scrap yarn and an H hook. Try using other yarn weights too for a variety of different effects. Be sure to check the yarn label for hook recommendation.
