I’ve been meaning to share this with you for quite some time…a while back I made this little tote bag. I sewed it as a gift to a little someone to carry their shoes to and from dance class. I got the ballerina fabric and the sheer fabric from the fabric store…I think I spent about four dollars on this project total! The ric rac trim I had already. I didn’t use a pattern, just started cutting away and after an afternoon at my machine, voila! A cute little bag. When I was putting it together, I thought the pink ruffle was a necessity, like a tutu. The hardest part was finding the ballerina fabric…I finally found these sweet little ballerina monkeys and all was well. So much fun!

Oh and another thing…one of my patterns (Fabulous Fish Dishcloth) has been featured in an ebook, “Crochet In Color: 11 Colorful Crochet Patterns” by All Free Crochet.

Do you remember this one? Can’t wait!
