<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n We’re switching gears a little today and doing something crafty with yarn…leaf rubbing garlands! This fun kids project uses just a small scrap of fallish yarn and some things around the house. Kids will love seeing the “magic” leaf images appear on the paper too!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n What is Yarny Kids?<\/p>\n Yarny Kids on Fiber Flux is all about easy and fun projects to do to<\/span>gether as a family to introduce kids to the wonderful world of yarn and creating things with your hands! <\/span>Click here for more Yarny Kids projects…<\/a><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Here’s what you’ll need:<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n You’ll use the sides of the crayon to make the rubbing, so peel the paper off,<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Slip a leaf under a piece of paper,<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Using the crayon, rub it over the paper to reveal the leaf underneath…kids love this part!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Make lots of them in different colors with different leaves,<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Cut them out and punch\/cut a hole at the top of each leaf,<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n And string them up!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n For more fun projects and pretty patterns, be sure to follow Fiber Flux on Google+<\/a>, Facebook<\/a>, Twitter<\/a>, and Pinterest<\/a> for the latest updates!<\/span><\/p>\n\n
